-- (한국 정부에 의해 "이어도해양과학기지 설치(2003년 4월) 전"에 최효 박사에 의해

1985년 8월에제주대학교의 해양조사선으로 이어도(파랑도) 주변해역 (한국 남해,

일본 큐슈연안해역, 중국 샹하이 연안해역)에 대한 "종합적인 해양조사 (해양물리,

해양화학, 해양지질, 해양생물, 해양기상)"를 수행한 결과와 제주대학교 해양학과

노홍길, 고유봉, 박용향 교수 등의 기존의 연구결과를 종합하여 "이어도 주변해역"에
